Description

A creamy layered dessert made with whipped vanilla cream and buttery biscuit crumble, chilled until smooth and indulgent. Each spoonful delivers soft cream and golden crumb texture that melts together beautifully.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Place your mixing bowl and whisk in the refrigerator for a few minutes so the cream whips more easily.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: In another bowl, combine the crushed digestive biscuits with melted butter and mix until the crumbs are evenly coated.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Spread half of the buttery biscuit mixture in the bottom of a serving dish. In a separate bowl whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Spread the cream layer over the biscuit base and smooth the top.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Sprinkle the remaining biscuit crumble evenly over the cream layer. Refrigerate the dessert for at least 2 hours so the layers set properly.
  6. Finishing Touches: Lightly press the crumble topping to keep it neat and well distributed.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Spoon the chilled dessert into bowls or glasses and enjoy the creamy and crumbly texture.

Notes

  • Make sure the cream cheese is fully softened for a smooth mixture.
  • Chilling the dessert allows the crumble and cream to blend together perfectly.
  • You can add fresh berries or chocolate shavings on top for extra flavor.
