- 300 grams fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups chicken pieces
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Toss the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add sliced red and green bell peppers and cook until slightly softened.
- Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything together until evenly coated with the sauce.
- Adjust seasoning if needed, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for the best texture and flavor.
- Do not boil the sauce too hard to prevent separation.
- Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating to restore creaminess.
