Description

A rich and creamy Cajun Alfredo pasta packed with bold spices, tender chicken, and vibrant bell peppers, perfect for a comforting yet flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300 grams fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups chicken pieces
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons Cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss the chicken pieces with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Heat olive oil in a deep skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add sliced red and green bell peppers and cook until slightly softened.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer gently. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and chicken back into the skillet. Toss everything together until evenly coated with the sauce.
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated parmesan for the best texture and flavor.
  • Do not boil the sauce too hard to prevent separation.
  • Add a splash of milk or cream when reheating to restore creaminess.
