Description
A bright, chilled coconut citrus drink made with coconut water, fresh citrus juices, pineapple juice, mint, ice, and sparkling water for a crisp tropical finish.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups chilled coconut water
- 1 cup orange juice, freshly squeezed if possible
- 1/2 cup chilled pineapple juice
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cup chilled sparkling water
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 medium orange, thinly sliced
- 1 lime, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, lightly packed
Instructions
- Chill the pitcher and serving glasses for 10 minutes if possible.
- In a large pitcher, stir together the chilled coconut water, orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, lemon juice, and maple syrup until fully combined.
- Fill the serving glasses with ice cubes.
- Add the orange slices, lime slices, and fresh mint leaves to the pitcher, then stir gently.
- Let the mixture chill for 5 minutes so the flavors can settle together.
- Pour in the chilled sparkling water right before serving and stir gently once or twice.
- Pour into ice-filled glasses, making sure each serving gets citrus slices and mint.
Notes
- Add sparkling water only right before serving to keep the drink fizzy.
- Use fresh lime and lemon juice for the brightest flavor.
- Do not crush the mint, stir gently so it stays fresh instead of bitter.
- Taste before serving and add a little more maple syrup if your citrus is very tart.
