Description

Crispy, golden chicken strips coated in a flavorful garlic parmesan crust, juicy on the inside and perfect for dipping or serving as a main dish.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C or heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper. In another bowl, whisk eggs with milk. In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, and herbs.
  3. Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper or ensure oil is ready in the pan.
  4. Coat each chicken strip in flour, dip into egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or fry for 5 to 6 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
  6. Drizzle lightly with olive oil if baking for extra crispiness.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
