- 500 grams chicken strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C or heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- In one bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper. In another bowl, whisk eggs with milk. In a third bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic, and herbs.
- Prepare a baking tray with parchment paper or ensure oil is ready in the pan.
- Coat each chicken strip in flour, dip into egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Bake for 20 minutes or fry for 5 to 6 minutes until golden and fully cooked.
- Drizzle lightly with olive oil if baking for extra crispiness.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Let coated chicken rest a few minutes before cooking for better coating adhesion.
- Do not overcrowd the pan or tray to maintain crispiness.
