Description

Layered Oreo Dessert is a rich and creamy no-bake treat made with layers of crushed Oreos, sweet cream cheese, chocolate pudding, and whipped topping. It’s perfect for potlucks, holidays, or anytime you crave an easy, indulgent dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • Additional whipped topping and crushed Oreos for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. Set aside 1/2 cup of the crumbs for topping, and mix the remaining with the melted butter. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish to form the crust.
  3. In a bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the whipped topping and spread evenly over the Oreo crust.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Spread over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Spread the remaining whipped topping over the pudding layer.
  6. Sprinkle the reserved Oreo crumbs on top and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.

Notes

  • Use double-stuffed Oreos for a richer crust and topping.
  • Try using different pudding flavors like vanilla or cookies & cream for a twist.
  • This dessert can be made a day in advance and stored in the fridge.
