Instructions

- In another bowl mix eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually combine the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and stir until a smooth batter forms.
- Slowly mix in the hot water and fold in the semi sweet chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow the cake to cool completely on a cooling rack before slicing or frosting.
