- 600 grams chicken pieces
- 250 grams egg noodles
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 medium carrots, sliced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
- In a mixing bowl, combine chicken broth, heavy cream, minced garlic, thyme, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Grease a large baking dish with butter.
- Add egg noodles, chopped onion, and sliced carrots to the dish, then pour the liquid mixture over and gently mix.
- Place chicken pieces on top of the mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 40 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the top is lightly golden.
- Let the dish rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Do not overcook noodles before baking as they will soften in the oven.
- Let the dish rest before serving to allow the sauce to thicken.
- You can substitute vegetables based on preference.
