- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red chilli flakes
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
- Toss chicken pieces in the coating mixture until evenly covered.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and heat until shimmering.
- Cook the chicken in batches for 4 to 5 minutes per side until crispy and golden.
- In another bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and red chilli flakes.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet and toss the chicken until fully coated.
- Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley over the chicken before serving.
- Serve hot with rice, noodles, or vegetables.
Notes
- Do not overcrowd the skillet while cooking the chicken.
- Adjust chilli flakes to control spice level.
- The sauce can be prepared ahead of time.
