- 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
- Grease a baking dish with butter.
- Layer sliced sweet potatoes in the dish, pour some of the cream mixture, then sprinkle cheese. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used.
- Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
