  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 12 slices turkey pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sliced black olives
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and lightly grease a small oven-safe baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, garlic powder, half of the mozzarella cheese, and half of the Italian seasoning until evenly mixed.
  3. Spread the cottage cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spoon the marinara sauce over the top, then add the remaining mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, diced green bell peppers, black olives, remaining Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  5. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
  6. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes if desired for extra golden cheese on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh basil over the top before serving hot.
