Description

Golden baked pockets filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese, soft inside with a lightly crisp exterior.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Cook ground beef with onion, garlic, salt, and pepper in a skillet until browned.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Mix flour, milk, egg, and butter to form dough. Roll out dough, add beef mixture and shredded cheese, then fold into pockets.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes until golden.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy.
